The tropical storm "Kristine" (international name: Trami) has strengthened into a strong tropical storm, and a state meteorological management agency has reported it. According to the latest bulletin, at 17:00 (GMT+8), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Kristine has maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h and gusts up to 115 km/h.

Analysis of the center of the strong tropical storm showed that it is located approximately 175 km east of Echague, Isabela. It is moving west at a speed of 20 km/h and is expected to make landfall near Isabela this evening or tomorrow morning, October 24, closer to dawn, according to PAGASA.
