Michelle Gumabao, a finalist of the "Miss Universe 2020" competition, has officially become the wife of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Aldo Panlilio. The couple's wedding took place in Makati and gathered close friends and relatives, including volleyball player Jaja Santiago. "Today is the day! First day," Michelle captioned a photo in her wedding dress. Note that the engagement was announced in August 2024. Michelle plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), but also participated in the "Binibining Pilipinas 2018" competition, where she was crowned "Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018." Then she entered the top twenty in the "Miss Globe" competition. Michelle also participated in the "Miss Universe Philippines 2020" competition, where she placed as the second runner-up.
