The famous chef with three Michelin stars, Gordon Ramsay, held a fork in Manila on Monday at an exclusive event at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, gathering more than a thousand culinary leaders, renowned chefs, food bloggers, students of culinary schools, and devoted fans.

The evening featured a culinary competition styled after the 'MasterChef' show, where renowned chef Judy Ann Santos, food blogger Ninong Ry, culinary school student Danika Lucero, and chef Beatriz Ku from Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill PH presented their innovative takes on the Filipino dessert Halo-Halo.

Dishes reminiscent of Ramsay's signature 'Glory Box'er dessert combined local ingredients with international flavors, reflecting the creative capabilities of Filipino chefs. After a 10-minute culinary showdown, Ramsay selected Danika’s Halo-Halo as the best dish and awarded her a signed chef's jacket.

He also noted the presence of culinary school students at the event, referring to them as 'the future of the culinary industry in the Philippines.' At the event, Ramsay shared plans to expand his presence in the country, announcing the opening of three additional restaurants.

At this time, he manages the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill restaurant at Newport World Resorts, offering a selection of rare cuts of beef, fresh seafood, and the famous Wellington beef dish from his restaurant. Ramsay, known for his Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in the UK and Le Pressoir d'Argent in Bordeaux, has created a global presence, opening establishments in Singapore, the UAE, and Japan.
