**MAP NextGen 2025 Conference: Sharing Experiences and Insights for New Leaders**

The Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) organizes the annual NextGen 2025 conference, which will take place on November 7 at the Shangri-La The Fort hotel. The event, featuring 75 young association leaders, focuses on equipping the next generation of CEOs and leaders to drive business transformation in the current economic landscape. The theme of the conference — "Passing the Torch to New Leaders" — emphasizes the importance of succession planning and developing the next generation of business leaders.

Among the speakers is Senator Bong Revilla, one of the youngest members of the Senate and a key figure behind the passage of the Go Negosyo Act and the Philippine Startup Act. He stressed the importance of how leaders, especially those focused on the youth, can stimulate innovation and sustainable development. The session, moderated by Professor Paul Antonio Azurin, a NextGen MAP committee member and president of Pacific Office Solutions Inc., noted that the involvement of young and deep-pocketed leaders creates an "innovation ecosystem".

Key figures from the Filipino business sector will be present. In Panel 1: Passing the Torch, current and former leaders of large companies will participate — Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala (ACMobility), Lorelie Quiambao Osial (Pilipinas Shell), Hans "Chico" Sy Jr. (SM Engineering), and Danielle del Rosario (PHINMA). Their discussion will cover strategies for governance, sustainability, and innovation.

"The conference brings together the club and the Filipino business leaders. MAP provides a platform that brings together entrepreneurs, focusing on the essentials, innovations, and missions," said Paul Borromeo, president of Ayala Healthcare Holdings.

Another part of the conference, Panel 2: Lessons from Generational Leaders, will feature Uy Tiu Lim (founder of Mega Prime Foods) and Mikky Tiu Lim-Chan (his CEO). Their dialogue, moderated by Cathy Garcia of BusinessWorld, will explore how the same values influence leadership.

During the program's closing ceremony, the Transformative Leadership 2025 award was given to SGV & Co and the Makati-based firm Cadence.

"The wisdom of Filipino CEOs reminds us of the importance of resilience in the coming years. We must build resilience, nurturing leaders for a sustainable future," said MAP President Alfredo Punsal.
