Popular television host Vice Ganda recently visited the 'Angat Buhay' headquarters in Quezon City to provide support for the victims of Typhoon Kristine. The donation included various essentials like underwear, diapers, toothbrushes, Eco bags, and face and bath towels.
During the visit, Vice Ganda spent time with the volunteers and staff of the foundation, offering words of encouragement. In a Facebook post, 'Angat Buhay' expressed gratitude for Vice Ganda's continuous support and camaraderie. They shared a quote from the visit stating, “This afternoon, Vice Ganda visited us to drop off his donation and check on our volunteers.”
Additionally, Vice Ganda engaged in a conversation with former Vice President Leni Robredo over the phone while handing over the donations. Robredo acknowledged the trust and support they have been receiving, to which Vice Ganda humorously replied, “I trust you more than my mom.” Vice Ganda also encouraged others to join the foundation’s relief efforts.
During the exchange, Vice Ganda shared a funny observation with Robredo about the delay in the goods reaching their destination, to which Robredo explained the challenges they were facing. Vice Ganda teased that it seemed like the entire country was channeling its donations through the foundation.
The donation and Vice Ganda's visit underscore the ongoing efforts to provide assistance to those affected by Typhoon Kristine.
