President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved a ₱10-per-liter fuel subsidy for public utility vehicles to cushion the impact of rising oil prices driven by the Middle East conflict. The subsidy will be capped at 150 liters per week, equivalent to up to ₱1,500 weekly or ₱18,000 over the three-month implementation period. The program is set to launch soon and aims to help public transport drivers cope with increasing operational costs.
