The Office for the Welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers reminded Filipinos working abroad about the necessity to extend their membership in the agency. In a social media post by OWWA, it urged migrants to go to any of their regional or foreign offices to extend their membership fee in the amount of 1401.75 Philippine pesos. "Amid the ever-changing world, one thing remains unchanged: the protection of active membership in OWWA! Thus, if you have not yet renewed your membership, this is a sign for you, dear kababayan," the statement reads. By becoming a member of OWWA, migrants and their families gain access to a range of benefits, including financial aid, training, as well as repatriation and reintegration programs. In addition, migrants can manage their membership in OWWA, update their status, and pay the membership fee through the OWWA mobile application.
