Special Service Day for OFWs in Dubai

A special day of service for Filipino migrants in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, traveling during Ramadan, will be held by the Office of Workers' Migrants (MWO) in anticipation of the arrival of a large number of foreign workers from the Philippines to the country. The event is scheduled for February 8, Saturday, aimed at optimizing key processes for departing workers.

In a related announcement, the agency stated that the event will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at MWO-Dubai to assist OFWs with the necessary documentation for their exit and provide access to services on the departure day. The event is open to OFWs with confirmed flights to the Philippines between February 27 and March 29, 2025, with 300 available slots.

Participants attending the event can avail themselves of the following services: Contract verification, assistance from compatriots, registration and renewal of membership in OWWA, membership in SSS, membership in Pag-IBIG. Interested individuals are required to register online using the link https://bit.ly/MWODubaiRamadan2025 and await an electronic confirmation for their time slot.

For those unable to secure a place during this special day of service, MWO-Dubai confirmed that additional service days will be scheduled to accommodate more OFWs during this peak period. It is expected that Ramadan will begin on February 28 or March 1, 2025, and conclude on March 30 or 31, 2025, depending on the sighting of the moon.
