Filipino stars mourn the passing of 'Coralev of Filipino cinema' Glory Romero, who left us on Saturday, January 25, at the age of 91.
"Tita Glo was not just an icon; she was a mentor to many of us," said actress and former ABS-CBN executive director Charo Santos-Concio. She also reminisced about the time spent with the movie star and television host.
Host of the show 'It’s Showtime,' Amy Perez also expressed sorrow over the loss of her colleague from the series 'Palabhasang Lalaki.'
Romero and Perez starred as mother and daughter in the ABS-CBN sitcom.
On her page, Barbie Forteza also shared her condolences and gratitude, proudly mentioning the opportunity to work with Romero.
"This is just heart-wrenching... a loss. Heaven has certainly gained one of the most beautiful souls, who is now home," she wrote.
