Pag-IBIG Fund has launched the "Pag-IBIG 1 Plus 1 Raffle Promo" to encourage Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), self-employed individuals, online sellers, and informal sector workers to become members and save with the fund. The initiative, running until November 30, 2025, aims to expand the reach of Pag-IBIG's programs and services to more Filipinos.

Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, who chairs the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, highlighted the growing interest of OFWs and informal sector workers in Pag-IBIG's offerings through the raffle promo. Acuzar mentioned that the program opens avenues for Filipino workers to save for their future and acquire affordable housing, especially under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program.

Acuzar stated, "Through the 1 Plus 1 Raffle Promo, we are able to reach more Filipino workers and provide them with avenues to save for their future and obtain affordable homes, especially under our Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program." He added, "With Pag-IBIG, we continue to help Filipino workers turn their aspirations for financial stability and homeownership into reality."

Active Pag-IBIG members who have saved in their Pag-IBIG Regular Savings within the last three months, termed as "PagIBIGfluencers," can invite at least one OFW or informal sector worker to join as a new member or reactivate their membership as part of the "Plus 1" component of the promo. Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta shared that over 7,000 new and reactivating members have already participated in the promo in its initial month, boosting both membership and savings collections.

Acosta emphasized that the initiative is more than just an incentive program as it recognizes and rewards the trust and support of Pag-IBIG members. She mentioned, "Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to making Pag-IBIG benefits more accessible to more Filipinos, while promoting the habit of regular saving." The program primarily targets OFWs, self-employed individuals, and other underserved segments of the workforce who lack employer support in registration.

Participants of the "Pag-IBIG 1 Plus 1 Raffle Promo" have the opportunity to win up to P500,000 in the Grand Draw and gain eligibility for the fund's savings and housing loan programs. For more information, updates on the initiative are available on the official Pag-IBIG Fund website.
