Philippine Team Competes in UAE SWAT Challenge

The Philippine National Police-Special Action Force has arrived in Dubai to compete in the ongoing UAE SWAT Challenge, representing the Philippines with excellence.

The Philippine General Consulate in Dubai (PCG-Dubai), led by General Consul Marford M. Angeles, welcomed a 10-member delegation from the Special Battalion for Countering Crime of the Philippine National Police (PNP-SAF), which arrived on February 1 to participate in the ongoing UAE SWAT Challenge.

As stated in the press release from PCG-Dubai, General Marford M. Angeles personally met the team, which is under the command of Plt. Col. Marlon U. Ancheties. The PNP-SAF team is currently competing against 104 elite law enforcement teams from 45 countries in various tactical and explosives tests.

The Philippine General Consulate in Dubai calls on the Filipino community to support the PNP-SAF team, which proudly represents the country in this prestigious competition.

Meanwhile, the Minister of the Interior and Local Government, Juanito Victor "Johnvic" Remulla Jr., also came to show his support for the PNP-SAF team on the second day of the competition. Remulla highly praised the team's performance, noting their skills in representing the Philippines with distinction.

The UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, which runs until February 5, can be followed live on the official Dubai Police social media pages, allowing spectators to observe the team’s journey in real-time.
