Celebrating Love with Filipino Cuisine

In a delightful episode of 'Masarap at Masayang Kwentuhan,' Joemar and Chinie showcase the beauty of sharing love through Filipino food, featuring their beloved Picadillo recipe.

Celebrating Love with Filipino Cuisine

In the new episode of the show "Masarap at Masayang Kwentuhan with NutriAsia", host Romer Tesado meets with the supremely talented chefs Joe Mar Tagalog and Chayni Jane Ching. Joe Mar and Chayni share their love for each other, their careers and experiences, as well as their passion for a simple yet delicious dish: Filipino picadillo.

The love story of Chayni and Joe Mar reminds of an ideal combination of two people from completely opposite professional spheres - Joe Mar works in the navy, while Chayni is a studio chef. Their love has survived the test of time, allowing them to become the personal chefs of the current rising stars.

Chayni begins to prepare the dish, heating oil in the skillet. Then Joe Mar adds minced meat, mixing it well to break it apart and cook it evenly. "So yes, he is the kitchen's coral," jokes Chayni.

The picadillo composition enhances the perfect taste thanks to the UFC Banana sauce, providing a balance of sweet and salty flavors. Of course, any dish prepared with NutriAsia products not only represents the Filipino culinary heritage but also love. "You are the princess of Disney," jokes Romer, to which Chayni agrees with joy.

To prepare their version of Filipino picadillo, they used ground beef, onion, garlic, tomatoes, raisins, beef broth, olives, potatoes, carrots, green peas, olive oil, salt, and pepper. They allowed the mixture to simmer for about 12 minutes for the vegetables to soften and absorb the rich flavors of the dish.

"Masarap at Masayang Kwentuhan with NutriAsia" is the perfect show to share enjoyable and tasty moments, diving into an atmosphere of love and warmth that preparation and sharing delicious dishes create.
