
The Philippines has once again sent a representative for the global coronation, after Aleksey Bruks was crowned Miss International Eco-2025 during the ceremony of presenting the crown, which took place in Alexandria, Egypt. With the victory, 36 participants from all over the world, Bruks brought the country its third title of Miss International Eco, replacing the titleholder from Ukraine, Angelinu Usanova.
Bruks outperformed competitors, including Julinar Fitriani from Indonesia (1st place), Elizabeth Adamska from Ukraine (2nd place), Sintia Murillo from the USA (3rd place) and Victoria Repollo from the United Kingdom (4th place).
From Iloilo, the beauty Aleksey Bruks was magnificent in a dress by Riana Fernandis, adorned with crystals and decorated with traditional silky patterns—a tribute to Filipino craftsmanship and heritage.
Her national costume "Manggayon", created by Tata Blasom Pinuelan, celebrated the Philippine eagle, symbolizing strength, resilience, and protection of the environment. The golden outfit, adorned with leaf motifs and crystals, earned her the award for "Best National Costume".
In the concluding round of questions and answers, Bruks left an impression on the judges with her message of hope and action for the surrounding environment, emphasizing the importance of individual efforts in preserving the planet for future generations.
As the new Miss International Eco, Bruks is expected to lead global campaigns for sustainable development, ecological tourism, and cultural pride.
