Rescue services in the Philippines attempted to provide assistance to residents blocked by flooding due to the tropical storm Trammi. In some areas, many people were reported delayed due to varying river levels.
One of the residents reported: "We need help, there is a lot of water here, children and the elderly cannot get through."
Rescue workers used boats to evacuate children and the elderly as they could not move due to the high water levels. Several areas remained isolated due to damage to bridges and roads.
