Rechel Hoco, popularly known as 'Rechel in Dubai,' is set to represent Oriental Mindoro for Miss Universe Philippines 2025. She gained her initial acclaim when crowned Miss Oriental Mindoro in 2019. Recently, during the Miss Oriental Mindoro 2024 coronation night, it was revealed that Rechel would return to the pageant scene to represent her province.
In a Facebook post by Builders Pandayan, the announcement was made and Rechel subsequently shared pictures from her coronation night on her Facebook Stories. On her official Facebook page, she expressed her gratitude and reminisced about her past journey since winning the Miss Oriental Mindoro title.
"Wayback Wednesday: Five years ago today, I was crowned Miss Oriental Mindoro," wrote Rechel. "It truly feels like yesterday! So much has happened… From unforgettable moments to life-changing lessons that have shaped who I am now."
Expressing excitement for what lies ahead, Rechel stated, "Now, I’m ready and excited to see what the universe has in store for me. It’s now official!" With 1.1 million followers on Facebook and 1.2 million on TikTok, Rechel has built a substantial online following.
