Chelsea Manalo's Miss Universe 2024 journey concluded on Sunday, November 17, when she did not make it to the Top 12 competition finalists. Representing the Philippines, she reached the semi-finals among 29 other candidates but was unable to move on to the next round.
The Top 12 finalists who advanced to the evening gown round include representatives from Bolivia, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Russia, Chile, Thailand, Denmark, Canada, and Peru. The competition continues in Mexico City with this selected group.
While Chelsea Manalo did not secure a spot in the final round, her distinctive performance and dedication to representing her country made an impact on the event. During the swimsuit segment, she presented her "Tampisaw Walk" in a lilac two-piece swimsuit with a sheer golden cape, inspired by the OPM band Lola Amour's song 'Raining in Manila'. Her unique walk, featuring a subtle foot drag, impressed many during the national pageant.
