Return of 11 OFWs from Lebanon

The Philippine government successfully repatriated 11 overseas Filipino workers from Lebanon. They arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, where officials welcomed them and arranged cash assistance for their reintegration.


Return of 11 OFWs from Lebanon

Seventeen overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) arrived in the country from Livan on December 16. This information was announced by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). They are the last group to benefit from the government’s repatriation program of the Philippine government.

Upon arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, they were greeted by DMW representatives headed by Deputy Secretary Mary Regina Angeles Galias and Director Andrea Luiza Anolin, as well as representatives from the Agency for the Welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers and the Ministry of Social Welfare and Development.

The documents of the arrivals were duly processed to facilitate the acquisition of various forms of financial assistance for their reintegration.
