In the office of Migrant Workers (MWO) in Qatar, financial assistance in the amount of 3.3 million pesos was provided to 51 Filipino migrants. This assistance was directed to provide help to OFWs who faced health issues, labor disputes, and other unforeseen situations.
"The government always supports them in everything, ensuring that they do not remain alone in times of labor," emphasized the assistant secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers Felicitas Bay. The AKSYON Fund offers a comprehensive support system, including legal assistance, medical aid, financial support, repatriation, and emergency services, to ensure the welfare of OFWs and their families.
It is emphasized that the assistance provided through the AKSYON fund is a vivid example of the deep love and care that the Philippine government shows to OFWs and their families, reminding that the sacrifices of OFWs are never forgotten.
