Ketrin Bernardo shared that she does not regret anything regarding her 11-year relationship with Daniel Padilla, recounting how the breakup revealed her inner strength. The actress opened up about her personal journey in an interview on the show 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda' on Monday, October 28, when host Boy Abunda asked what she learned about love at 28. She came on the show to promote her upcoming film 'Hello, Love, Goodbye' with Alden Richards, and Bernardo reflected on how her relationships reflected her. 'I was only in one relationship that lasted 11 years... I grew up in those 11 years of relationships.' 'The first thing I learned was to forgive myself, and I learned how to forgive others... this time for me was to be selfish, and I want to dedicate this time to myself,' she said. During the 'fast talk' segment, Bernardo rated her happiness a 9 out of 10 and shared that her ideal age for marriage shifted from 28 to 34, signaling new perspectives after a period of deep reflection. 'What you see now is a large part of those 11 years,' she explained. Bernardo also opened up about forgiveness, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing herself and fully processing her emotions. 'Right now, I feel that I am surrounded by so much love.' Bernardo expressed surprise at her own resilience, describing how the experience helped her uncover qualities of herself that she didn't know. 'I don't regret anything... I want her to experience all the happiness, all the joy... Those were 11 beautiful years. When the breakup happened, I also learned a lot about myself and everything that goes on.' She added that she is still learning: 'I still don't know what love really is, but I think love can be found wherever it's convenient - from family, friends, a partner, or a girl.'
