Edward Anu, the National Security Advisor to the Philippine President, announced today, Friday, that missile launch platforms of the Typhoon type belonging to the U.S. Army will remain in the Philippines for the time being.

He pointed out that the Philippine side is receiving training and improvements from American forces on how to use these weapons, which enhances the defensive capabilities of the country.
