Actor Sam Milby confirmed that he and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray have officially split. In an interview for ABS-CBN, he also addressed rumors of a third party between him and singer Moira dela Torre. "Kat and I have always kept things private in our relationship. There has never been anything between us other than friendship, like that of a brother and sister. And I want that to be clear," he said.
The actor emphasized that there was never anything romantic between him and Moira: "Between us, with Moira, there has always been the same close friendship."
Sam also urged the public to be more discerning when consuming information on social media, especially when there are no concrete evidence to support certain claims.
"There is no truth in this. With time passing, in February 2024, Cornerstone Media will issue a statement acknowledging that they "encounter certain difficulties" that they work on together.
The actor confirmed that he and Moira are no longer friends since last year, but did not specify the details of their breakup. The former couple announced their split in February 2023, but towards the end of the year, Sam felt the need to state to dispel the myth of a third party between them.
