The Philippine consulate in Abu Dhabi provides the opportunity for every Filipino citizen in the UAE to participate in the elections in the Philippines in 2025, while remaining open on weekends and public holidays during a 30-day period outside the country. A special voting booth has been created at the consulate to assist individuals with limited capabilities, senior citizens, pregnant women, and non-gamers in the transition to online voting, starting April 13, 2025.
"If anyone needs assistance for online voting, whether it's a weekend or holiday, they can contact the consulate," said a representative of the consulate. It is open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
There will be no manual voting during the parliamentary elections in 2025. The period for voting outside the country will end at 3:00 PM (UAE time) on May 12, 2025. Voters who need additional assistance can contact the consulate via email at [email protected] or through SMS, call, or WhatsApp at +971 50 741 8683.
Registered voters outside the country are strongly urged to pre-register by May 7, 2025, and to vote online, using the official links provided by the Commission on Elections for a smoother and more convenient process.
