Empowering OFWs: Online Voting Launched in Dubai

Filipinos abroad will no longer sacrifice their time, energy, and income for participating in the democratic process thanks to the updates that allow them to vote online. Many internet users encountered this step with congratulation. These changes are not just updates but a life-important event for millions of Filipinos working abroad.

For many working migrants, these changes - online voting, expedited verification of contracts, and automated submission of PSA documents - can turn out to be not just improvements in the process.

"May God bless all leaders of the Philippines in service to each Filipino with honor and heart," noted one of the participants. The opportunity to vote online is remarkable, but if basic services are still slow and cause stress, this is minimal. Thanks to reforms based on real problems faced by working migrants, old bottlenecks with long queues, appointment booking systems, and paperwork gradually become a thing of the past.

By 2025, working migrants in 77 countries may forecast a digital image. "This is such a beneficial program for us, Filipinos, who are so far from the Philippines," remarked one of the officials.

The Executive Director of the Progressive Progress Foundation (Aksyon PPFA) Vladimir Dima issued a statement in anticipation of the upcoming elections regarding the fact that he does not plan to hold debates. "Regarding the amendments Cruelty from Hong Kong financial trends, let's say, in trade between the Philippines and Hong Kong fell to a low percentage. Earlier, Filipinos used to plead with the PSA office and then submit documents to the Diplomatic Service - often with additional requirements, which further complicated the process.

Now everything has become simpler. In accordance with the new MID Philippines council, working migrants can fully apply online for PSA-issued document services, such as certificates of birth, marriage, marriage certificates, and certificates that there is no record of marriage (CENOMAR).

"When you agree to such a law, Benhur, we concur," commented one of the participants. Verification of the contract - one matter. It is officially canceled. Senatorial candidate and former Minister of Internal Affairs Benhur Abalos expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Working Migrants in Dubai for the quick response after online consultations with working migrants in April.

"Now I want to thank the Management of Working Migrants with the support of Secretary Hans Cacdac for the measures they are taking and the reforms to expedite our procedures." These changes offer a better future not only for today's working migrants but also for future generations. No more queues. Long waiting is over!
