The Hague, AFP — The International Criminal Court in The Hague on Monday decided to question former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on February 23 regarding charges of crimes against humanity during his war on drug dealers and users. Duterte, who is 80 years old, served as president of the Philippines from 2016 to 2022. He will appear at a session known as 'confirmation of charges', during which judges will decide whether the prosecution's arguments regarding the charges against him are sufficient to justify his trial.
