Heart Evangelista recently addressed the ongoing controversy involving her and Pia Wurtzbach. In a media interview, Evangelista clarified that there was no feud between her and the Miss Universe 2015. She stated, "Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia. I was one of those who cheered for her in the past and I’d like to think that it was the same for her."
Reflecting on her appreciation for Wurtzbach using the hashtag #HeartMadeMeDoIt as she entered the fashion industry, Evangelista mentioned, "But it’s the people that she chose to surround herself with, for specific reasons, that makes this whole thing problematic."
When asked about the message she would give to Wurtzbach, Evangelista congratulated her and expressed her hopes that Wurtzbach would not experience what she went through. She said, "Congratulations. I hope what happened to me doesn't happen to you."
