The last group of sailors aboard the M/V Minoan Courage, who were attacked by Houthi rebels, safely arrived in the Philippines. Ten Filipino crew members boarded the vessel. The Department of Labor Migration announced that they were repatriated on October 23 via Etihad Airways flight 424. A Greek cargo ship was attacked by Houthis on October 1 in the Red Sea, with 21 Filipino sailors on board. The Department of Labor Migration confirmed that all crew members were repatriated. Earlier, groups of sailors returned on October 9 and 13, bringing back 11 crew members. The department also announced that assistance would be provided through the AKSYON Fund and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to support returning sailors.

"We are grateful for the rescue of our compatriots who found themselves in a dangerous situation. This is a true blessing for us, that they are now safe and have returned home," noted the representative of the DMW.
