World boxing legend, Filipino Manny Pacquiao, revealed that his entry into the world of boxing was accidental, through a local boxing program in his country, and his only goal at that time was to get a small cash prize to help him survive. Pacquao noted that his life in the beginning was very difficult. He admitted that he spent long nights on the streets without shelter or food. "Sometimes I had nothing but water to stay alive, but that phase taught me patience and the value of every achievement I make today," he said. While participating in the World Sports Summit, Pacquiao said with tears: "The real strength was not in the boxing ring, but in life itself."
