Following verification with various involved parties, the PCG stated that the total number of people on board the MV Trisha Kerstin 3 was reconciled to 372. The agency released the updated figures after a two-week investigation into the incident, according to a Xinhua report accessed by Argentine News Agency. The number of confirmed survivors is 293, following an exhaustive identity verification process that included both passengers listed on the official manifest and undeclared crew members, the agency noted.
